Flat out this Is what a DS game should be! It looks goods, its flat out fun and builds on what everyones loves in Goemon. The story starts out with Goemon and Ebisumaru relaxing at home. Suddenly Omitsu burst though into Goemons home with a leaflet for their arrest. Before Goemon and Ebisu can think about whats going on the police come and arrest them. After they get out, with a little help from Yae, the two set out to catch the crimals who framed them. As you play though out game you eventually get Sasuke and Yae. Many challenges come your way so using all four characters is key at point so you will be using all of them often. As you play though the game your characters run along a lush painted work of art. Impact battles are new for the DS and take full advantage of the touch screen. You now control impact from the outside using a DS-sort-of-device. Trippy! The impact fights fit the system perfectly and the game gives you a chance to play with it in the first fight. Against a MOUNTAIN!!! As for the extras the minigames are fun and finally you get to replay impact battles! This game shows what the DS is capible of and does what most games couldn't. I give Ganbare Goemon DS a Perfect 5 out 5.
