I am deeply saddened to share that Ichiro Mizuki, known to Goemon fans as the singer of "I am Impact!" has passed away at 74 years old.
Ichiro Mizuki's agency announced today that the "king of anime songs" had lost his battle with lung cancer on the 6th of December, 2022.
To many, "I am Impact!" is one of the most memorable parts from the N64 Goemon titles.
I want to thank Mizuki-Aniki for his performance that left a lasting impression on Western kids, despite us being oblivious to his whole legacy.
