UPDATE: The cartridge was dumped, however nothing different was noted with the ROM. It is speculated that this cartridge might have been an early cartridge used for a demo, or they simply decided to reuse assets.
On Twitter there has been some interest in a recently discovered Ganbare Goemon 3 cartridge, which Twitter user Ductape obtained. Upon opening the cart to investigate its abnormal heaviness, Ductape found more EEPROMs than was expected, each adorned with hand-written labels.
